It would be an honor to welcome you to Pantry Hill for an heirloom pie workshop & afternoon tea experience.
Each workshop will begin in the Pantry Hill studio barn (less than a 10-minute drive from storied downtown Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) where Darien will walk attendees through crafting individual pies using her great-grandmother’s time-honored recipe.
While the pies bake, attendees will move to the kitchen garden for a seasonal celebration where they will participate in our favorite daily ritual - afternoon tea. Guests will sip our custom Pantry Hill blend tea in collaboration with Saratoga Tea & Honey Co., plus enjoy bites straight from the garden and a slice of freshly baked pie.
At the end of the afternoon, guests will take home their personalized 6” pie, the heirloom recipe, and a small gift.
There are 12 spots available for each workshop on a first-come first-served basis. Cost is $275 per person. These will be the only open-enrollment workshops for 2026.
(There are many beautiful hotels and bed & breakfasts in the Saratoga Springs area. We’ll send a list of our favorites upon reservation.)

More About Our Seasonal Workshops
Learning is at the very heart of Pantry Hill. We gain knowledge from our ancestors, our elders, neighbors, mentors, friends. The kitchen and garden, the farm and field, the neighborhood bistro - these are our classrooms. There is much to learn from one another when we gather around the table to prepare a meal, master a skill, celebrate a milestone.
In 2022 we began offering private seasonal workshops at Pantry Hill, located just a short drive from storied downtown Saratoga Springs, NY - a destination in-and-of itself.
With food and garden, we share both our family history and invite local experts to draw on seasonal themes. Learn to make our great grandmother’s no-fail pie crust; experience the joys of preparing a meal from the garden; dive into dressing a beautiful table.
It would be an honor to welcome you to Pantry Hill to learn from and alongside us, as we gather with friends, neighbors, experts and novices to share in the joy of cooking, gardening and entertaining.
